10 things We can learn from the Movie Border

6 Things we can learn from the Movie Border
Border in an Indian movie which was directed by the J.P Dutta. The movie was released in 1997. The movie features various actors like Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshay Khanna, Puneet Issar, Jackie Shroff, Sudesh Berry, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt, etc. The border is a story based on India-Pakistan War 1971. It is a story of how the 23rd Regiment of Punjab Battalion was led by the Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri role played by the Sunny Deol. The movie showed how Kuldeep Singh Chadnpuri led his team, how he and his team saved the territory which was given to him. At one stage, Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri was left with his around 20 soldiers. He was given the choice to left the territory or fight. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri and his team decided to fight against the enemy. 23rd Battalion of Punjab Regiment led by Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri defeated the enemy. There are many things that can be learned from the Movie. Movies based on the army always give us some important messages in life. They taught us many things like Leadership, Team collaboration, sacrifice, and various other things.
I am highlighting 6things that can be learned from the Movie.
1.     There is always a rivalry between the two organizations.
Army Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri and Air Force Wing Commander Anand “Andy” Bajwa taking a ride in MIG 21.
“chaman mein ikhtilat-e-rang-o-bu se baat banti hai ,ham hi ham hain to kya ham hain tum hi tum ho to kya tum ho”. This a famous Ghazal said by Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri to Wing Commander Anand “Andy” Bajwa. They both were arguing that their department is the best in handling any situation. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri insisted that the Army is the best on the other hand Andy argued that the Air Force is the Best.
When you work for any organization there is always a tussle between two teams. Any organization there is always a rivalry between two teams. They want to prove to each other that their team is the best. There are many examples of this you can see there is always a rivalry between Delhi Police and Mumbai Police. But Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri said something that ends the conversation beautifully. He said that Chaman Mein ikhtitat-e-rang (ikhtilat meaning fragrance and rang means color). It means that color without fragrance is useless. Therefore Air force without Army and Army without Air forcer will not able to work out. Collaboration is required between two organizations for better performance.
2. Life Second Name is Problem.
Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri telling Mathura Das that if everyone will take holiday then how we will win the War. He told him that before he declared him traitor he should leave the camp.
Remember this Scene. Here Mathura Das was very enthusiastic that he got a holiday. He expressed his happiness in front of all the people. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri came into the scene. He told Mathura Das that the way he was behaving with his colleague was not good at all. Mathura Das gave an excuse that his wife is very ill. She was suffering from a malady. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri told him that everyone’s family member is suffering from some kind of disease. Everyone has a problem in their life. He said his famous dialogue that “Life Second name is a problem”. Before he declared him a traitor, he must go from the camp.
When you work for any organization you must sacrifice your everything for the work. You should leave your home tension at home and you should be mentally prepared for any work.
3. Leaders should be fearless
Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri reached the end of the border.
This is a very important scene in this movie. Here Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri reached the end of the border. He was on the gunpoint of the Pakistan Army. But nothing happened, he was left unharmed. When he back to the post, he told his team members that his god is always with him. He can’t be killed. This is the most important scene. Leaders have faith in themselves. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri this gimmick gave a very good message to the team. Everyone was flabbergasted by his action. Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri showed that he is fearless and ready to take any risk to serve his country.
4. Every organization needs a specialist.
Border Security Force(BSF) commander Bhairon Singh
Border Force(BSF) commander Bhairon Singh's role was played by the Sunil Shetty. He played the role of a very patriotic officer. He was hired by the Army because he was specialist in his field. He had good experience in the desert. He considers the desert soil as his mother. There came a scene where he told his colleague that green grass is available only in Pakistan. Only a specialist can tell you this.
Every organization needs a specialist for efficient work. BSF Commander Bhairon Singh helps the army in many ways throughout their journey.
5. Leaders have emotions too.
Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri consolidates his team member that we will win the war and We will go to the home.
Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri rolled played by the Sunny Deol was so perfect. He showed discipline that everyone needs in their life. Here he showed that a leader have emotion too. He showed that emotions are part and parcel of any man.
6. Once you choose hope, anything is possible.
Kuldeep Singh Chadnpuri just chooses the hope and the rest was history.
Kuldeep Singh chandpuri’s team was very weak in front of the enemy Army. He choose hope and rest was history. His team only choose hope and they defeated. There comes a point where his team was left vulnerable, enemy was hovering all over thier head. But at the final moment, the air force came to their rescue and their team won the battle.
